Patricia Vargas of Parima Studio goes to the LA Arboretum - Patterns in nature - View of the California mountains

A trip to the LA Arboretum

I recently visted the LA Arboretum with a friend. It had been a long time since I last visted and forgot just how stunning it was. The place is quite large, and silly us decided to go in the middle of a hot summer day.

Needless to say that we didn't walk the whole lenght of the park, as we decided to stick to the paths with the most shade. Luckily for us, this path put us right in front of some the most colorful trees and plants.

I am seriously obsessed with the pattern and color combo of this bamboo.

Tell me, have you ever seen anything in nature that didn't perfectly coordinate?

No. You'll never think to yourself "ew, those two colors should not go together" because they always compliment each other perfectly.

That's why I love going out into nature, be it "man-made" or natural, because there's inspiration around every corner.
