Orders are printed within 3-5 business days, and standard shipping is an extra 3-5 business days.
International shipping can add an additional 2 weeks.
Prints 12" and under will ship flat in a sturdy mailer sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard and sealed in protective sleeve.
Prints over 12" will come rolled with a protective sheet of acid-free tissue and in a plastic sleeve inside of a tube.
To preserve the longevity of your prints choose acid-free framing materials to avoid "paper burn". Paper burn causes yellowing and discoloration.
If you're framing the print yourself, you can unroll by:
- Clearing a flat smooth surface. Make sure it's dry and free of any debris.
- Have some clean heavy books nearby.
- Your print will come rolled with the printed side faced up, covered with protected by a sheet of acid-free tissue paper. This means that when you unroll it, it will be face-down.
- Carefully remove the belly band holding the print shut.
- Unroll about 2" and stack a book on either end. For extra large prints, add another book in the middle.
- Gently unroll the rest of the print and add another set of books at the end.
- Leave it undisturbed for 2 hours or overnight.
- When inserting it into the frame, hold it only by the white border. Avoid touching the printed portion with your bare hands, as this can leave traces of oil that can affect the longevity of the print.
If you're using a professional framer, do not take it out of the tube. It's best to let them handle it. Unless there's visible damage to the packaging, please contact me within 7 days of delivery or expected delivery date.
